Unregistered sex offenders arrested

Two Colorado men are in custody for an indictment and conviction in federal court for failing to register as sex offenders.
Dominic Eugene Hughes, age 32, of Weld County, was indicted Feb. 12. He will be arraigned tomorrow.
Hughes was convicted in 1999 of two counts of sexual assault on a child in El Paso and Teller counties.
Michael James Becnel, age 39, of El Paso County, was indicted on Jan. 7. Becnel pled guilty on Feb. 22 and will be sentenced on May 9.
Becnel moved to Colorado from Louisiana and was living in El Paso County. He failed to register as a sex offender. Becnel was originally convicted in 1998 of aggravated incest in Louisiana.

Let's do a Hawthorne, and tattoo a scarlet letter on thier forehead; that way we can teach our children what to do, when they see that letter. Damn a liberal society, that allows this incurable abomination, before all humanity, to go free. Why let this predator live to hunt again? How about two strikes and it's the eternal needle, thus we may save another child from the clutches of this evil?

Louie you are ignorant - if we cure society of its ills, we will see less and less of these ills. I think that true child molesters and rapists etc should be locked up and prevented from hurting others, but what about those who are innocent? Sexual Predator looks like it is becoming the witch hunt of the 21st century, or McCarthyism all over again. Fear Mongers, Control Freaks and people with a torch to burn can really ruin lives. What about the innocent ones? Poison them too? that sounds like Pope Innocent the third, when questioned by a Knight during a crusade on who was a christian and who was a heretic in Burgundy France and how to tell the difference during a crusade - "Kill them all and let God sort it out". Yay tsk tsk tsk
