* Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado elected executive members to its associate board: Lindsay Brown, senior associate, the Staubach Co., board chair; Dennis Moore, executive director of premium seating, Denver Broncos, vice chair; and Chris Onan, managing director, Appian Ventures, secretary.
* REI honored Cortez-based pack company Osprey Packs Inc., which specializes in high-performance outdoor gear, with its Vendor Partner of the Year Award.
* The Colorado Automobile Dealers Association selected Don Hicks, president of Shortline Automotive Inc. in Aurora and Porsche of Colorado Springs, as the 2008 Colorado Dealer of the Year. Hicks also will be eligible to compete for the 2008 TIME magazine Quality Dealer of the Year Award.
* Denver-based JG Johnson Architects added Theo Giliotti as a designer, Katie Goldman as a job captain and Sean Maloney as an architectural intern.
* The American Indian College Fund, headquartered in Denver, appointed Deborah Esquibel Hunt to project officer.
* Richmond American Homes Corp. promoted Mike Stanko to national vice president of sales.
* The Crimson Services Denver office appointed Megan Maddocks to its sales and leasing team and Shannon Kelly to its investment sales and acquisition team.
* The University of Denver's School of Professional and Continuing Studies, University College, appointed Tom Tierney to academic director of Computer Information Systems and Telecommunications Programs.
* Christopher R. Lovest, assistant field vice president for Allstate's west central region based in Denver, was appointed to the Denver advisory board of Facing History and Ourselves, an organization that focuses on teaching tolerance, understanding and inclusion to youth.
* The National Trust for Historic Preservation named Crested Butte one of its 2008 Dozen Distinctive Destinations.
* Culinaire Inc., a Denver-based custom-food manufacturer, appointed Todd Warnke as culinary director.
* Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver named Diane Redmond as vice president of performance excellence and safety.
