A 40-point fourth quarter led the Colorado 14ers to a 131-120 win against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in an NBA Development League shootout Tuesday night at the Broomfield Event Center.
The 14ers rallied from a five-point deficit in the fourth quarter to improve to 8-3, while Fort Wayne fell to 4-7.
Two players assigned to the 14ers by the Nuggets led the way with Sonny Weems producing 24 points and 10 rebounds and Cheikh Samb adding 19 points and five blocked shots.
The news was not all good for as leading scorer James Mays tore his right Achilles' tendon 8:36 into the first quarter.
