Aaron Davis' shootout goal lifted the Broomfield-based Rocky Mountain Rage to a 1-0 victory against the Wichita Thunder in a Central Hockey League game Saturday in Wichita.
Rage goalie Marty Magers made 31 saves in regulation and stopped five shots in the shootout.
* Ryan Tobler scored two goals to spark the Colorado Eagles to a 7-5 win against the Arizona Sundogs in a CHL game Saturday at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland.
The two teams combined for 10 power-play goals, tying a league mark.
