Message to Hillary supporters

Our country is facing the most important presidential election of my lifetime. I was born in 1948. There are many extremely important issues and choices facing the American voters. Ending the war in Iraq, restoring American credibility in the world community, health care for all Americans, the mortgage crisis, recession and inflation, immigration, the appointment of possibly three supreme court justices, and sources of renewable energy are all on the table. At the same time, the choices between the progressive and conservative positions on these topics and many others have never been so clear. There is an opportunity to set this country in a new direction.

Remember 80 % of Americans have said that the country is headed in the wrong direction. Yet, I continue to read/hear that approximately 25% of Clinton supporters are planning to either stay at home and not vote or vote for McCain. If you are truly democrats and believe in progressive principles and still chose to stay home or vote for a Republican presidential candidate because you are angry about the outcome of the democratic primary, I suggest that on the morning of November 5th, you take a long look in the mirror. You will see the south end of a north bound horse, a sore loser, and an IDIOT.

BTW- my first choice was not Obama, but I will definitely be voting democratic!! Get over it!

Many of the 80% of Americans who believe the country is headed in the wrong direction believe that part of the solution would be to vote for the candidate with a track record of doing what he believes is right for America, rather than always sticking to partisan politics. That candidate would be willing to die for his country in a prison camp, vote his convictions against supporters of his own party at times, and commit himself to keeping America safe from radical Islamic terror. Those descriptions don't fit Barack Obama, who is the most left-wing partisan politician in our government. Vote for John McCain for president!

Hillary supporters do need to take note. They ned to note how their vote was totally ignored. How the rules for the convention were rewriten to stop any momentum that Hillary had. How Hillary was forced into supporting Obama.

Hillary voters ned to note how in her speech she outlined her stances on issues. how they still differ from Obama. Take note Hillary supporters on how your delegates were called and cohearced into supporting Obama or looseing thier delegats seats.

Note closely on how represenatives are being called UNCLE TOMS if they do not support Obama. That any critisim of the MAN and his POLICIES, not his RACE result in being labeled racism, and bigotry.

Look deeply at the absurd comparisons that are made. Obama is not Kennedy, and he is definately not Lincoln.

Take a long look at your own arguments that Bush is guilty by association alone. Then look at Obama's associates and ask your self who these people are.

DO the math on the campaign funds raised and ask yourself how much of it is legal.

Open your eyes and realise that you have been hoodwinked and had a candidate forced down your throat.

    Shadow - nice try.

This "Operation Chaos" leftover tactic of "supporting" Hillary is so transparent as to be laughable. You've been drinking the Caplis Kool Aid methinks. So do you think Hillary should get a "participation prize" even though she lost? So her feelings don't get hurt? Are you one of those who don't want to keep score in school sports events so the losers won't have their self esteem bruised? Grow up.

So - are you busy militating that McCain should not consider any other VP candidate but whoever came in second to him??

That's so sweet. You sure are doing a heck of a job winning the support of these voters by insulting them. The other day someone wrote that they were "immature." The rest of the clan here deems them as mindless robots who are now "on board" with Obama since Hillary gave them the marching orders to do so.

Like I said before, keep it coming. These insults and innuendos are doing more to push them to McCain than he could have ever hoped for.

    Thanks again for help!

Don't worry about Hillary supporters. After last night if McCain gets 5% of them I would be surprised.

The DNC convention "bounce" for Obama is a net +1.5 (he was +2.0) and he now sits at +3.5 in the polls.

Insulting Hillary supporters is definitely NOT helping this waning flame.

    kw,

It must be tiring come in here everyday trying prove what you know to be not so. I mean the time alone to cherry pick these polls as got to be tremendous. Then to have to sell the readers that they make any difference at all when we saw in the primaries of both parties they were seldom accurate in percentages or winners. Of course, the cutting and pasting your posts from one forum to the next doesn't take to long I wouldn't imagine. Tell me does the Republican party pay you to come in here or are you just a good soldier.

She has been in elected office for 14 years. She is the governor of Alaska and deals with Russia on many issues. She stood up to the crooked good ol boys in her own party. Pro life, pro guns, wants to drill, negotiated the pipeline, Commander of the Alaskan National Guard, refused the pork barrel $$ for the bridge to nowhere.....

She is on the ticket as VP, not the top of the ticket.

Tell me again how much more experience Sen. Obama has?

If you're only counting executive experience, then she has more than McCain as well. Just keep that in mind as you argue the validity of her experience.

    daRock,

If she's that good why did only 2% of Republicans feel like she should be the choice for VP.

Once again the only thing that concerns conservatives is whether or not there's an "R" next to the candidates name. Thanks for the proof.

Fact of the matter is, she's nothing more that a side show. Step right up!

How patriotic is someone that picks a total economic novice like Sarah Palin as VP. Knowing the economy is our biggest concern and lacking his own economic credentials, a true patriot would have picked the person most likely to help turn it around. Instead he preferred to pick someone who could help him win the election. Hark, didn't he accuse Obama of doing just that?

Absolutely castafiore and that is exactly what Obama did, pick a running mate to help him turn this mess around.

McCain is not at all interested in fixing this thing only in getting elected so he trots out his side show, in classless fashion and there you have it.
