A pair of businesses had their safes cracked during the weekend, and police are warning other store owners to be wary.
Police say burglars struck at night and tampered with the alarm systems at two shops in the Market Center shopping complex, on the 4400 block of Austin Bluffs Parkway.
Police wouldn't say exactly how the crooks got inside the businesses, saying "both had entry other than through the doors or windows."
The burglars cleared out safes at the businesses before getting away clean, police said.
Police say businesses need to remove cash and other valuables before shuttering for the weekend.
