PUN HELL -- Codey James was on a roll with the Barack Obama puns this afternoon.
He was sipping on a "Barack-tail." He and his buddies just went for a five-mile "Bar-alk." And he was being interviewed by a reporter with the "Barack-y" Mountain News for this story.
"He's been doing this all day," groaned Chris Kunicky, 31. "It's getting really old after four hours of this."
Kunicky was subjected to James' pun onslaught from inside Angel's Night Club and Restaurant on Federal Boulevard.
Looking out over Invesco Field, the normally Bronco (or is that Bar-anko?) -themed bar has turned political for the night, said owner Maria Gutierrez.
Instead of ESPN, CNN was blaring on the big screens.
"We can't have music on, which is really kind of weird," she said. "Everybody wants to hear what's going on."
Too bad you can't hit the mute button on Barack puns.
