Wisconsin U.S. Congresswoman Gwen Moore pulled out a pack of condoms at Wisconsin's delegate breakfast this morning.
"I'm protecting myself against John McCain," she said, drawing laughter from the 104 delegates.
Moore was speaking out against the issues McCain has voted against, including the two times the Arizona senator has voted against mandating that health insurance companies cover birth control for women.
Critics say many of those same companies will cover Viagra for men.
"He needs it," joked Wisconsin Senator Lena Taylor "His wife looks a little young."
On a more serious note, Taylor pointed out that, in many cases women need birth control hormones for other medical reasons, and it makes no sense for health insurance companies not to cover it.
