CAPLIS: Would you bet your life on Obama?

Joe Biden was right when he said Barack Obama is not ready to be commander in chief. Biden taunted, “The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.”
Hillary Clinton nailed it when she said “I have a lifetime of experience I will bring to the White House. Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience that he will bring to the White House. Barack Obama has a speech he made in 2002.”
In a recent ABC-Washington Post poll, McCain led Obama 62 percent to 31 percent on the question of who would make a better commander in chief. McCain led 61 percent to 29 percent on knowledge of world affairs.
Sound reasons explain why Biden, Clinton and the voters have concluded that Obama is not ready to be commander in chief. Four years ago he was a state senator in Illinois. He was in the U.S. Senate long enough to have a cup of coffee before he ran for president. He has no military or executive experience.
Also, Obama has often been dangerously wrong. He proclaimed that the surge would fail, and tried to stop it. He voted against funding troops in the field. Obama identified Iran as a “tiny threat” compared to the old Soviet Union. Just last week, Obama compared our troops’ liberation of Iraq to the Russian invasion of Georgia.
That is why a terrorist organization like Hamas told ABC Radio, “We like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win this election.” Our other enemies likely feel the same way.
Some claim Obama will protect us by charming dangerous enemies like Iran, al-Qaida, Hamas, Hezbollah and Russia’s Vladimir Putin out of their evil intentions. That is the kind of naive thinking that gets a lot of people killed.
Successful diplomacy is vital to our national interests. But the key is muscular diplomacy. Peace through strength. America’s words mean nothing unless others are convinced we’ll back them up.
No friend or foe will doubt that President John McCain will do whatever is necessary to protect America and its interests. Everyone will doubt Obama. Doubt invites attack.
America is a beacon of hope in a world full of homicidal maniacs who want to use WMD to kill us. Are you willing to bet your life on Barack Obama? I hope not.

Tiny threat? Iran?
What a country whose economy is 68 times smaller than ours, A country whose military budget is 110 times smaller than ours. Are we talking about the same Iran that has not invaded another country for over 250 years? Obama is nuts if he is not shaking with fear.

Gladys you are an ignorant fool who has bought into the hollow speeched from Obama. The horrible state our country is in??? Last time I checked, we are successful with the surge, unemployment is far better than in other countries, and the economy progresses forward (maybe not at a torrid pace but it can't always be rapidly expanding). This is a great country we live in!!! America is strong thanks to people like John McCain! Oher countries will continue to know we mean what we say, and say what we mean.....not so with say anything Obama. He is a great orator, not a great leader. He has very little experience and is out of touch with foreign affairs!!!

Flag waving Fear Mongering Fundamentalist Fascist Dan Caplis, honoring his commitment to a death cult based on fear of the natural world, wanting to control all people possible and jealous of the black man from the south side of Chicago. Poor Dan - A lawer and co-host on KHOW radio with unfulfilled aspirations of telling Americans how to live their lives. What a fool.
