COLORADO CONVENTION CENTER – The Arkansas delegation is in the house.
With the Delaware delegation. And the Hawaiian delegation.
Delegate Betty Allred of Mountain View, Ark., said her delegation has all arrived and is staying at the same hotel as those other two delegations, and the retired business teacher couldn’t be happier.
The way Allred sees it, she’s sharing the Marriott Denver South at Park Meadows with veepstakes winner Sen. Joe Biden’s Delaware delegation, Sen. Barack Obama’s Hawaii delegation.
“You know his grandparents raised him on Hawaii,” she said during a welcome reception for delegates today.
And oh yeah, “We raised the Clintons," she said.
