Protesters are circled by swat teams on 15th street at 7:30p. on Aug. 25, 2008.
DOWNTOWN - Police armed with sticks and face masks encircled about 70 protesters and used pepper on 15th Street, about two blocks from the Civic Center.
Some in the protesters sang Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues".
The anarchists are wearing bandannas as protection from the pepper spray as helicopters and sirens can be heard. However, some protesters were searching for water to help those who were hit with spray.
Others pass around markers to write the phone number for legal aid protection on their arms and legs.
People hold their identification up, and try to find out whether or not they will be arrested.

These protesters are pathetic. They're not even getting gassed. What a bunch of wimps, nothing like 1968. We're breeding altogether different protesters nowadays.
