Brothers accused in car ax attack re-jailed

Two brothers arrested after one was accused of attacking a sheriff's patrol car with an ax are back in jail because, police said, they tried to smuggle a sword-cane into a court hearing Wednesday.

David and Michael Mundy were arrested last week after the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said the brothers became aggressive with deputies responding to a Jamestown home for a welfare check.

David Mundy, 45, was accused of hitting the car with an ax and was arrested on suspicion of attempted assault, menacing, criminal mischief, obstruction and resisting arrest. Michael Mundy, 44, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and obstructing police.

After they were released on bail, detectives learned David Mundy violated bail conditions by buying "a walking cane that contained a concealed 15-inch blade," a news release said.

Haha, I really hope they don't have any kids. These two are perfect examples of why the poor in our society cannot make themselves better. All of the smart ones are killed, and all of the dumb ones are either in jail or doing drugs.

Goodness, what a couple of morons these brothers are! I'm in agreement with those who are hoping these two haven't reproduced. They really need to stay in jail.
