Wyoming made progress on offense, though it didn't take much. How much improvement the Cowboys made is up for interpretation.
After last week's disastrous scrimmage, Wyoming coach Joe Glenn was clearly relieved to put some points on the board Wednesday at War Memorial Stadium, but the Cowboys still have a long way to go.
Devin Moore punched in a 2-yard score to end the scrimmage and give new starting quarterback Dax Crum his only touchdown drive of the two scrimmages.
Crum wasn't prolific, but his 7-of-9, 34-yard night was efficient. The sophomore appeared to tighten his grip on the starting-quarterback job, pulling away from Karsten Sween.
