Series history: The Rockies trail 137-106 overall and 72-47 at Dodger Stadium. The Rockies are 5-7 this season and 2-4 at Dodger Stadium, where they were swept in a three-game series April 25-27 but won two of three June 2-4.
Roster: Outfielders Andruw Jones (left knee) and Delwyn Young (right oblique), shortstop Rafael Furcal (back) and pitchers Brad Penny (right shoulder), Takashi Saito (right elbow), Scott Proctor (right elbow) and Jason Schmidt (right shoulder) are on the disabled list.
Quickly: The Dodgers have won 14 of their past 18 games at home, where they are 38-28 this season. They are 6-1 on their current homestand, having swept four games from Philadelphia and won two of three from Milwaukee. ... Each of the Dodgers' past nine games have been decided by one or two runs, and the Dodgers are 6-3 in those games. ... Jonathon Broxton is 9-for-10 in save opportunities since Saito went on the disabled list July 18. ... In his past seven games, including six starts, Andre Ethier has four homers and eight RBI. ... Three of the Dodgers' eight walk-off victories this season have come this month, including Sunday when Ethier hit a two-run homer to beat Milwaukee 7-5.
