The city of Denver has issued permits for about two dozen parades during the Democratic National Convention, with marchers advocating everything from the end of the war in Iraq to Falun Dafa, an ancient form of meditation and exercise.
Supporters of both Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton will walk through Denver, as will the Raelian Movement, which believes life on Earth was created in laboratories by extraterrestrials.
Expected turnout ranges from 50 people for the Raelian Movement event to 10,000 or more for an anti-war march on Aug. 24, the day before the convention.
* Parades will start each day of the DNC at 11 a.m. and continue until 2:30 or 3 p.m., according to a tentative schedule released Thursday.
* On Aug. 25 to 27, the route will start near Civic Center and travel west on Colfax Avenue to northbound Speer Boulevard, ending near Larimer Street.
* On Aug. 28, the route starts near 13th Avenue and Mariposa, traveling north to Colfax, then west to Federal Boulevard and north to 19th Avenue.

Since over l.2 million illegals and their anchor generations or non paid birth right--with the non profits and Catholic Church: the world can expect to see the effects of defiance of USA laws with pro-illegals attacking USA citizens on-the-spot.
Have your cameras and be prepared to defend thyself since illegals and their non paying non profits seem to think they are owed something for nothing or their mere existence of demands via THE RACE Marxist-Socialists dementality.

Sounds like the DNC has become something else; a forum for non-political statement. Maybe it should be called the Denver National Circus.

Hard times are here already. Where have you been? Doesn't matter which clowns are in power as long as representation panders to corporate power. The fight is with the corporate thieves bleeding this country, not with people trying to scrounge a living, of any ethnicity.

7, see how it goes? You mention anything about corporate greed or mis-doings, and you get the Rushite crowd laughing at ya, even when it is they who are often being screwed along with the rest of us. For them, it's got to be one or the other - unfettered corporations putting profits before people/community - good. Any sort of common sense regulations - bad......
A good book "What's the Matter with Kansas" brings this type of ignorant thinking to light.

Some of you people are amazing, (STOPUSAGiveaway) rights of illegals and U.S. citizens should be treated and protected the same. A world without borders would be a much better place for humanity. Too many people think that just because they were born in the U.S. that they should be entiled to more rights and better treatment than people from the rest of the world. I hope someday everyone will realize that we are all part of the same world and all just trying to live a happy good life.

chadIsaac, illegal immigrants have no rights in America. That's the point. They aren't American citizens, and in case you didn't know, if you cross into Mexico illegally it's a felony under their law. The same people telling us we shouldn't make it a felony are the ones that make it a felony themselves.
A world without borders? This country couldn't handle the immigration onslaught if that was the case, and the poor would only become poorer. What kind of drugs are you on???

Chadlsaac, perhaps you will get your wish someday, and I hope it really is the world you've envisioned, rather than a dictatorship. For now, though, there are others who take advantage of your sentiments, and use them to their own gain, while laughing at us all for our stupidity. Please remember that immigration policies were set into place for valid reasons, as were our laws. If you do not like those laws, it only takes a small majority of determined people to have them changed. But study the consequences of your actions, first. I don't think our President did that, and look at the mess we have, now.

The DNC is not history. It's not important. Nothing will be decided. It's a paid vacation for thousands of journalists and political hacks, it's millions of dollars of overtime pay for civil servants.
Since my elected officials (above the city level) who are Democrats all ignore my requests for help, I simply do not believe that DNC delegates are open to having their minds changed by protesters. So why bother?

The Democrat elite don't give two hoots about who's marching; they have their agenda, and they're sticking to it. Is there some editorial ban on using the word "illegal" prior to "alien" at the News and Post? The party has so many splinter groups they pander to that they end up disenfranchising a lot of the people who could do them a lot of good. If they keep going Left, we're in for another four years of Jimmy Carter, but worse, and then another hard swing to the Right after people see their income taxes go up, their fuel taxes and costs go up, their city taxes go up, their sales taxes go up, their school choice go out the window (the NEA is NOT pro-choice when it comes to schools) and their speech and behavior increasingly dictated by "hate" laws, "public interest" laws and the like. Read, listen, learn. You will soon see these people are NOT your friends. Lyndon Johnson's Great Society was a far different thing than the New Deal. Nearly every program they set up has become bloated, bureaucratically unmanagable and rife with fraud. And you want MORE of this? Vote Republican, even if you have to hold your nose. Mike

ChadIsaac: While I appreciate your sentiment that we should all just love each other, I have real experience living abroad - going through the visa application process, exiting a country when told my time was up and applying to re-enter - and am qualified to say that it is most imperative for anyone coming to this country (or going to another) do so LEGALLY. The question isn't 'am i better than the rest of the world because I am an american'... it is can we s uck it up and follow the rules? No following of rules means no benefits. You cheat you pay. Simple as that.
