Avalanche forward Peter Forsberg said today he feels fine and will play tonight in Colorado's Western Conference playoff game with the Minnesota Wild.
Forsberg's status was called into question when he did not practice Sunday, which coach Joel Quenneville called a "maintenance day." Forsberg did participate in the team's optional skate this morning and said he also plans to play Tuesday in Game 4 of the playoff series, which is tied 1-1. If he does play Tuesday, it would be the first time Forsberg has played in back-to-back games since joining the Avs.
