Each state will be allowed one blogger on the floor during the Democratic National Convention, officials announced Tuesday.
Officials also said bloggers will be officially credentialed for the DNC. The Democratic National Convention Committee said bloggers must apply by April 15 and will be held to strict criteria, including having been in existence six months prior to requesting credentials and at least 120 politically related blog posts.
DNCC spokeswoman Natalie Wyeth said a blogger from each state - standing with their respective state delegations - will be on the convention floor. Republican National Convention spokesman Matt Burns said the announcement by the DNCC wasn't a big deal - noting both conventions have made commitments to include bloggers.
The Democratic convention is scheduled Aug. 25-28. The Republicans' convention is Sept. 1-4 in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Most amusing to see that worker soviets will be detailed to be watchers and make sure no deviations from the party line occur. The denial of Michigan and Florida, the packing of the caucuses, and now this -- when did the Democratic party become so hostile to democratic ways!?!?!?!?
The whole thing is just a silly temptation to hackers.
