Feds seek help to ID suspect in bank heist

A federal task force is offering a reward for identifying a bank robbery suspect.
Police say a man robbed the TCF Bank at Wadsworth Boulevard and Colfax Avenue in Lakewood at noon Dec. 22.
He carried a handgun during the heist and was last seen running toward a nearby Wal- Mart, police said.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Rocky Mountain Safe Street Task Force is working with Lakewood police on the case.
If anyone has information about the suspect, call the FBI task force at 303-629-7171.

In other news, I had no idea that a bank was robbed 6 blocks from my house last week, directly across the street from MY bank. Thanks Lakewood Police! Way to look out for us!
And to think, a guy was walking out of my bank yesterday so preoccupied with counting what looked like more than $1000 he nearly walked into my car as I was parking. That guy probably would like to have been informed of this.
