Mammoth reach deal with radio stations
The Colorado Mammoth has reached an agreement with two Denver radio stations to broadcast the National Lacrosse League club's 16 regular-season games.
Seven of the games will be broadcast on KKFN-AM (950) and nine on sister station KEPN-AM (1600).
The season opener against the Calgary Roughnecks at the Pepsi Center will be broadcast on KKFN at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Matt Williamson, who has served as a broadcaster for Syracuse and Wayne State athletics, will handle the play-by-play.
"Having all games - home and away - available on the radio is an important part of the Mammoth's relationship with its fans," Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said.
