U.S. House congratulates Rockies

The U.S. House of Representatives today approved a resolution congratulating the Colorado Rockies for winning the National League pennant.
The resolution also congratulated the Boston Red Sox for winning the World Series.
The resolution was introduced by U.S. Rep. Mark Udall, D-Eldorado Springs, and co-sponsored by all seven Colorado House members. The measure passed on a voice vote.

I suppose it's better that they spend their time with this sort of fluff than some of the other things they typically do. Keeps them out of trouble I guess.
Maybe next week they'll pass a congressional resolution stating that puppies are cute.
