Arnason is placed on injured reserve

The Avalanche on Sunday placed center Tyler Arnason on the injured reserve list because of a broken wrist and recalled forward Cody McLeod from the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.
Arnason was injured Wednesday against Columbus and is expected to be sidelined for about four weeks.
McLeod, 23, had six goals, seven assists and a team-high 101 penalty minutes in 27 games with the Cleveland-based Monsters.
He had 11 goals, eight assists and 180 penalty minutes in 73 games last season with the Albany (N.Y.) River Rats in the AHL.
