Brown: Haggard, Price to join Nelson for two shows

Despite the holiday weekend, a number of shows are going on sale this week.
Willie Nelson has two shows in the area with a twist. He'll be performing with Merle Haggard and Ray Price, and they'll use Asleep at the Wheel as their backing band. Tickets are on sale now for March 12 at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland (Comcast Tickets) and March 13 at the World Arena in Colorado Springs (Tickets West), priced at $35, $45 and $55.
Other shows on sale:
OGDEN THEATRE: Blue October plays on Feb. 17, $20. TV on the Radio is March 20, $20; Super Diamond is March 31, $20; and Pepper is Feb. 21, $20. Three Days Grace and Buckcherry are set for Feb. 5, $25. Pete Yorn performs on Feb. 23, $20. Finally, George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic are set for Feb. 24. All tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday (Ticketmaster and TicketWeb).
PARAMOUNT THEATRE: The Rat Pack Is Back!, a tribute to Frank Sinatra and crew, performs Feb. 22, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, $29.50, $39.50 and $49.50 (Ticketmaster).
LECTURE HALL AT THE COLORADO CONVENTION CENTER: Larry the Cable Guy has added a 5 p.m. show on Feb. 24, on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, $42.75 (Ticketmaster).
RUMORS AND HEARSAY: My Chemical Romance has scheduled a tour that includes a March 4 Magness Arena date with Rise Against as the opening act. . . . The May 31 Outlaws show at CityLights Pavilion now includes the Marshall Tucker Band and Charlie Daniels on the bill as well.
