Cory Casady
School: Broomfield.
Year: Junior.
Sport: Wrestling.
Etc.: Casady, who finished second at Class 4A state at 119 pounds last season, is ranked No. 1 in 4A at 140 and 16th in the nation by Wrestling USA magazine. Two weeks ago, he won his weight class at the Top of the Rockies Invitational.
What food do you crave that you can't have much of during the season?
Pizza, with just about everything on it. But the more I eat, the harder it is to get back down to my weight.
What is your favorite TV show and favorite movie?
On TV, it's the Family Guy; it's just a lot of fun to watch. My favorite movie is Gladiator. Isn't that kind of what wrestling is all about?
Which is your favorite team to wrestle against?
Thompson Valley, because we become so energized when we wrestle against them. They have a great program, too, and our meets are so intense.
What are your favorite songs on your iPod?
I like the soundtrack from the Rocky movies. It gets me pumped.
If you had a million dollars . . .
I would buy lots of food. I wouldn't worry about what I ate.
