There's a fair amount of caffeine in chocolate. How much is in white chocolate? - Elliott

Actually, there's not much caffeine in regular chocolate. A 1.4-ounce bar of milk choc- olate has 3 to 10 mg of caffeine, the same as a cup of decaf, according to the National Confectioners Association.

White chocolate has zero caffeine because of the basic difference between the two. Regular chocolate is a blend of cocoa butter, nonfat cocoa solids, milk, sugar and flavorings; white chocolate doesn't have the cocoa solids. So, according to the FDA, white chocolate isn't really chocolate at all.
