Anthony, fiancee expecting

MTV VJ LaLa Vazquez and her fiancé, NBA star Carmelo Anthony, are expecting their first child together in March, Vazquez's rep, Jack Ketsoyan, confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.
This will be the first child for both. The couple, engaged since Christmas Day 2004, plan to wed after the baby's birth.
Vazquez, 27, is a VJ for MTV shows including TRL, Spring Breakdown and Direct Effect. Anthony, 22, a forward for the Denver Nuggets, won a bronze medal as a member of the U.S. Olympic basketball team in 2004.
"The couple is very excited and they can't wait until the arrival of their new baby," Ketsoyan tells PEOPLE.
