$34.99 retail price for a running shoe to be sold exclusively by Payless ShoeSource Inc. The retailer has paired up with Exeter Brands Group, a subsidiary of Nike Inc., to market the high-performance sneaker, which will be sold as part of the Tailwind collection.

RESCUE DOUGHNUT?

Krispy Kreme hopes doughnut lovers will love this new whole - as in whole wheat doughnut. The new confection, which has 180 calories, was unveiled Monday, the latest move by the struggling company to recapture consumers' tastebuds. The doughnut has a caramel flavoring and is covered with Krispy Kreme's original glaze.
