The Keystone Center received a $100,000 grant from the Pew Charitable Trusts to support a joint fact-finding process focused on the risks and benefits of the future expansion of nuclear power in the United States. . . . Del Pueblo Elementary School received a $100,000 Lowe's Grant for campuswide improvements. . . . Rose Youth Foundation, a grant-making initiative of Rose Community Foundation, has awarded $50,000 in grants to 10 projects in three categories: promoting Jewish identity for Jews ages 13 to 25, promoting tolerance between Jews of different denominations and people of other faiths ages 13 to 25, and homelessness. . . . Caring for Colorado Foundation has awarded $2.5 million in grants to 58 projects across the state. . . . ADA Technologies Inc. will receive a total of more than $400,000 to conduct research on three projects. The grants are from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. . . . The Children's Treehouse Foundation, which trains oncology social workers, nurses, clergy and child-life specialists from cancer hospitals across the country to launch emotional group support programs for children of parents with cancer, has received a $100,000 grant from the Avon Foundation. . . . The Denver Foundation has awarded a grant to Community Reach Center in the amount of $13,000. The grant supports the center's Early Childhood Services Program. Children's Hospital announced a $100,000 grant from Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to oncologist Dr. Lia Gore, director of Children's Experimental Therapeutics Program, in support of her ongoing study of neuroblastomas. . . . Cerebral Palsy of Colorado received a $25,000 gift from Southwestern Investment Group. . . . Denver's Jessica Starr and Emily Rotbart are this year's recipients of the Women's Foundation of Colorado Dottie Lamm Award. Each will receive a $1,500 grant to contribute to a girl or women's-centered nonprofit and $1,500 to put toward her academic or vocational school expenses.
