Hirsh brothers enjoy the 'positive feedback'

What started out as a senior project has turned into a pet project.
Matt Hirsh, brother of Rockies pitcher Jason Hirsh, created the Web site hirshbrothers.com as part of his multimedia course work at California Lutheran University in 2005.
Two years later, Matt continues to update the site while chasing his own dream of reaching the majors. The 30th-round pick of the Houston Astros in 2005 pitches for the York Revolution of the Atlantic League.
"My brother said we got so much positive feedback and e-mails that he just kept it going," said Jason, who allowed only five hits in a complete-game 6-1 victory against the Orioles on Sunday. "He keeps it updated pretty regularly."
While Matt handles the bulk of the Web workload, Jason is not without Internet experience. He wrote a blog for mlb.com last year while pitching for Class AAA Round Rock.
"I try to give fans the answer that they're looking for," Jason said. "I'm not going to give them a generic, vanilla answer. I'm not going to give them a Bull Durham answer. I'm going to give them the more in-depth answer, and give them some insight into what we do."
