According to AAA, the top five Colorado destinations are Denver, Colorado Springs, Alamosa, Durango and Vail. The top five out-of-state destinations for Coloradans are Las Vegas, San Francisco, Orange County (Disneyland), Orlando (Disney World) and Seattle (cruises).

ADDING A NEW ZIP
Two new postal ZIP codes will be rolled out along the Front Range beginning Sunday. These new ZIP codes affect customers who live in the northeast Broomfield mail delivery area and the western part of Fort Carson in Colorado Springs.
Broomfield customers now using 80020 will switch to 80023. Residents now using 80913 in the Fort Carson area will switch to 80902.
8100 mailing addresses will be impacted by the switch.
WAY BACK WHEN
Residents in and around San Luis gather today to celebrate the founding of Colorado's oldest continuously operating family business in the state's oldest town.
Other events taking place in 1857: Maytag invented the washing machine; Milton S. Hershey, founder of the chocolate empire, was born; baseball officials decided nine innings constitutes a game, not nine runs; and an earthquake in Tokyo killed 107,000.
COOL IDEA
Looking for something cool to do over the hot weekend? Consider a visit to the air- conditioned environs of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and its Titanic exhibit. After all, the ship was sunk by an iceberg.
300 artifacts are on display, including jewelry, china and passengers' personal belongings.
$400 million would be needed to re-create the Titanic today. The ship cost $7.5 million to build in 1912.
$50,000 is the approximate cost in today's dollars of a first-class ticket on the Titanic. The ticket cost $4,350 in 1912.
IT WILL BE THE LAW
More than 90 bills will become law Sunday, including one requiring children under age 18 to wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle. If caught in violation, the driver would be punished with 3 points on his or her driver's license and $125 in fines and costs, including $10 for the Colorado Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Fund.
