If you are traveling this weekend, you might pay close attention to the speed limit signs in and around Colorado's two largest cities.
According to the National Motorists Association, Colorado Springs is ranked No. 2 in a list of the top ten speed trap cities in America. Denver, with its heavily patrolled I-70 corridor ranked ninth.
Detroit and its Michigan suburbs topped the list. Houston, Orlando, Florida and Nashville, Tenn. rounded out the top five.
The bottom five are led by Ann Arbor, Mich., followed by Albuquerque, N.M., Washington, D.C., and Virginia Tech.
The list was created from the NMA's SpeedTrap Exchange, a site devoted to identifying the location of speed traps.
