Cartier will close its only Denver location this summer. The 2,000-square-foot Cherry Creek Shopping Center space is slated to close at the end of June, mall general manager Nick LeMasters confirmed Friday.
The high-end jewelry retailer opened the Denver store about four years ago, he said.
A Cartier spokeswoman did not return calls for comment Friday.
"I believe its part of a much larger strategy," LeMasters
said. "Its a national strategic move for Cartier, not a Cherry
Creek decision per se. Theyre going to be focusing their energy
on their flagship stores in the larger cities."
