A security guard who was killed outside an Aurora bar early Sunday was identified by police on Monday as Jorge Mora Jr.
Mora, 19, was working security at La Cabaña Bar, 1130 Yosemite St., when he was stabbed repeatedly by a man he'd escorted out of the bar.
Mora was employed by King Security, an Aurora company.
Moments before his death, Mora escorted two unruly patrons from the bar into the parking lot. He and one of the men got into a fight and the man stabbed Mora several times before running away, police said.
Police were called to the bar around 12:25 a.m. Sunday. Mora was taken to an area hospital where he died 30 minutes later.
Police have named Oscar Montana as a person of interest in the case, but have made no arrests. Montana's photo is not yet being released pending photo lineups.
Mora attended Manual High School in 2001 for ninth grade, and the Arts and Cultural Studies Academy at Manual for 10th through 12th grades, according to Alex Sanchez, Denver Public Schools spokesman.
