A fire broke out early this morning in the Helen Langworthy Theater in Frasier Hall on the campus of the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
Firefighters received multiple smoke detector alarms at 3:20 a.m., according to the Greeley Tribune.
A fire curtain that seals the stage from the rest of the auditorium came down and the fire was extinguished by the fire sprinkler system by the time firefighters arrived.
Fire officials told the newspaper that a dry ice machine under one of the sets was left on after last night's performance of "Much Ado About Nothing." It boiled dry and the heat started a blaze in the sets above it.
Damage was estimated at $150,000.
