Teacher's aide held in sex case

A 32-year-old teacher's aide from Sobesky Academy was arrested Thursday on suspicion of felony sexual assault on a child, police said.
April T. Robertson was arrested on three potential charges after a 15-year-old male student told his family about sexual contact and they informed the school, said Steve L. Davis, a public information officer at the Lakewood Police Department.
"There were at least two reported incidents," Davis said, adding that the incidents took place off the academy property.
The alleged sexual assaults occurred in December.
Robertson was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust with a pattern and enticement of a child.
Sobesky Academy is a day treatment program for special education students operated by Jefferson County schools.
