Motorcyclist identified in Tower Road fatal

A motorcyclist who was killed yesterday in the 8700 block of Tower Road was identified as Christiane Lee Williams, 40, of Denver.
Commerce City police Lt. Chuck Saunier said she was traveling north on Tower Road and was slowing to stop for a red light at East 88th Avenue when a Ford Explorer, struck her from behind and pushed her into a Pontiac Sunfire.
Williams, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to a local hospital where she died.
Saunier said charges are pending the result of the investigation.
