Man identified in I-70 fatality

A man walking against traffic on eastbound Interstate 70 near Watkins who was killed when he was hit by a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup Monday night has been identified as Cory Martin, 34, of Aurora.
Drivers called the State Patrol communications center reporting a pedestrian on the interstate minutes before the man wasn hit, about 10:30 p.m.
The woman driving the pickup, who stopped immediately after hitting Martin, was identified as Cynthia Mowry, 46, of Aurora.
I-70 was closed until about 2:30 a.m.
