A 56-year-old man from the Netherlands was killed Sunday when he hit a tree on an intermediate trail at Keystone Resort.
Summit County Coroner Joanne L. Richardson said the man was not wearing a helmet and struck a tree on the Mozart Run, an intermediate run, at about 2 p.m.
He was conscious when he was found but was bleeding internally from blunt force injuries, Richardson said. The bleeding led to his death, she said.
The man's name was not released Sunday.
