A parole hearing is scheduled for Friday for Willie D. Clark, the only person in custody in connection with the killing of Denver Bronco Darrent Williams.
Tim Hand, assistant director of parole for the Colorado Department of Corrections, said the hearing could result in a range of actions - anything from a continuance to a later date, to more intensive supervision of Clark or a revocation of his parole.
Clark, 23, was arrested Jan. 4 for allegedly violating the terms of his parole by not living at the southeast Denver home of his grandmother as he had pledged to do.
But Denver police also have called him a "person of interest" in the Jan. 1 killing of Williams, a 24-year-old second-year cornerback.
The hearing is closed but the results will be made public, Hand said.
He said it is likely that no mention of the Williams case will be made at the hearing.
"This has nothing to do" with the Williams case, Hand said. "This has to do with a residence violation. This other situation is irrelevant."
Clark was paroled July 18 after serving a brief sentence on a guilty plea to aggravated motor vehicle theft.
