President Bush landed at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora about 6:30 tonight and headed to the Inverness Hotel in Englewood, where he will spend the night.
He is in Colorado to support U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, who is in a race against Democrat Angie Paccione in the 4th Congressional District.
Bush will attend an event billed as the Colorado Victory 2006 Rally at 10 a.m. Saturday at Island Grove Regional Event Center, 501 N. 14th Ave., Greeley.
Musgrave, the two-term Republican incumbent, is in a heated battle with Paccione for the 4th, which covers all of eastern Colorado, plus Larimer and a portion of Boulder counties. Recent polls have shown the race narrowing, and the Washington, D.C-based Cook Political Report this week moved the Musgrave-Paccione race from its "leans Republican" column to toss-up status.
