12-year-old girl arrested in graffiti case

A 12-year-old Boulder girl was arrested at Manhattan Middle School of Arts and Academics, accused of writing a threat in graffiti on the school at 290 Manhattan Drive.
The girl, whose name was not released, was taken to the Boulder County Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of interference with faculty, staff and students of an educational institution and criminal mischief under $100.
The nature of the threat wasnt made public, but police said
they do not believe the student intended to carry it out.
