The pilot of a Beechcraft that made an emergency landing in an Arapahoe County parking lot yesterday has been identified as William Disser, 77, of Saratoga, Calif.
Disser was flying solo from California to Colorado Springs when his craft developed engine trouble and he made an emergency crash landing in a parking lot at 11551 E. Arapahoe Road.
The plane struck a light pole and three vehicles, but Disser only suffered minor cuts and was treated and released at the scene.
The National Transportation Safety Board is slated to investigate the crash.
