A 23-year-old former Denver Public School paraprofessional was arrested Tuesday by Denver police on suspicion of sexually assaulting a child.
Chris Anderson, who started work at Amessee Elementary School on Sept. 16, 2002, and at Smith Elementary School on Jan. 29, 2003, was terminated by the school district in August 2006.
The alleged assault took place at an in-home daycare center run by Andersons mother. But police are concerned there may be others victims because he also worked with children at his school-district job.
Anderson is being held at the Denver County Jail on $100,000 bond.
Denver police would like anyone who has additional information or concerns about Chris Anderson to please contact the Crimes Against Persons Unit at 720-913-6050.
