Road repairs on Pena Boulevard leaving Denver International Airport began at 6 a.m. today and are scheduled to be completed by 6 p.m. Oct. 2.
The project involves removal and replacement of some concrete panels in the section from the Conoco station turnoff to the point where the road merges with 78th Avenue or Rental Car Road.
Two lanes of traffic will be open during the work, but both lanes will be shifted to the south and speed limits through the construction zone will be reduced to 35 mph.
