As Memorial Day weekend draws closer, there is still time to reserve a camping space at several Colorado state parks.
Nine parks have open sites for reservations. They are Arkansas Headwaters, Crawford, Eleven Mile, Mancos, Ridgway, State Forest, Steamboat, Vega and Yampa.
Visit www.parks.state.co.us or call 800-678-2267 or 303-470-1144 to reserve campsites, cabins and yurts. Each reservation requires an $8 fee.
Reservations at Colorado state parks can be made year-round, up to six months in advance and at least three days before the desired date.
Any unreserved sites will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
