THEY SAID IT
"It's Shrek - not Smurf - blue. And it's definitely not a fashion statement."
- André Leon Talley, Vogue's editor-at-large, seen sporting (gasp!) the same patent leather Miu Miu coat and velour track pants for three days straight at Milan Fashion Week. Turns out his luggage was lost, but four of his suitcases finally turned up. Talley arrived at the Gucci show in a vintage Chanel couture jacket and size 16E Roger Vivier jeweled flats.

SKINNY ON SKINNY PANTS
So, we're a little freaked out by the Gap ads forcing Audrey Hepburn to dance to AC/DC, but we can't deny the skinny black pants craze. Here's how the retail giant suggests wearing them for any age:
20s: Pair with a deep V-neck sweater and a romantic top for a feminine flair.
30s: Add a sophisticated yet playful piece, like a fitted biker jacket or men's-style vest.
40s: Try a longer sweater to balance out the slim line of the pants.
50s: Create a slimming effect by keeping colors dark, like brown and navy.
