Democratic candidate for governor Bill Ritter announced today he raised $106,000 during the past two weeks. Ritter has now raised a total of $2.1 million for his campaign.
Ritter has just $65,000 in cash on hand. His campaign says that's because he's already spent $850,000 to purchase TV spots in the fall.
Congressman Bob Beauprez, the Republican candidate for governor, hasn't yet released his fundraising numbers for the most recent two-week reporting period. Under state law, all the candidates have to disclose fundraising totals by Wednesday.
