Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill Ritter raised $121,000 in the most recent reporting period, his campaign reported Thursday.
That brings his total to more than $2 million raised since he began campaigning.
"We're continuing to gather momentum because our campaign speaks to the people of Colorado," Ritter said in a statement. "In the last month, I've traveled from Creede to Trinidad, from Springfield to Durango, and points in between, talking to voters. . . . The broad support we've received for the campaign is a reflection of our support for Coloradans."
In June, Ritter raised $360,000. The most recent reporting period covers the past two weeks.
Republican Bob Beauprez, who is challenging Ritter in the Nov. 7 election, raised $151,860 in June. He also has raised a little more than $2 million so far for his campaign.
Beauprez has not yet released his most recent fundraising totals. The deadline to file with the secretary of state is Monday.
