Frontier Airlines passengers will be able to watch the World Series at 30,000 feet.
The Denver-based carrier has struck a deal with DirecTV and other parties to show the games live on channel 25 on its seat-back TVs.
"It has taken a lot of coordination and effort ... to make this happen," said Frontier spokesman Joe Hodas. "We're so appreciative that we'll be able to show the games to our passengers."
Frontier charges $5 for it satellite-TV service, which is available on its 60 mainline Airbus planes.
Discounter JetBlue Airways also is showing the games on its
seat-back TVs.
